About me

My work is best explained, by someone else:
With a conceptual approach, he likes to involve the viewer in his art and believes in the idea of  the viewer taking away a thought or emotion captured within his work. He tries to create works in which the actual event still has to take place or just has ended: a single moments evocative of atmosphere realization and within himself a slight despair.

I have been doing Digital art independently for many years. What makes me different to other 3d artists is the artist bit, its more artist-3d, my focus is not on technical spaces for example a poly-count or aspect ratios.
I’m basically not working from the same book, I’m just using the same tools. I do have a few limitations I keep for myself but they are not restricted to 3d modelling.

I myself was born in 1986 and have lived in Greater London all my life, I went to school, colleague, university and obtained a masters in computer games art, but I’m not really about all that. I found myself working in a Chinese meat factory (very cold, long hours, language barrier many things) after killing myself desperately trying to grow my two C’s into a future but again. long story’s.

My work to me is and can only ever be an expression of the reality I see, because of my focus on ideas or thoughts / questions rather than for example creating a visual piece just because of the look, or doing abstract art means there is a story to everything, but I’m not here to force my story onto anyone.

Although a lot of my work looks dark with bright colour and is based around dark themes of grief my message is one of love and (some) understanding. We often isolate ourselves through periods and moments of suffering, which every person has their reasons for, our collective attitude towards life’s hardship are usually the same regardless of race, gender, and individual identity for example the experience of loss. I try to reflect this, to express a an experience that is personal to every person but universal.

But where are you from

I have been doing art for many years, but as an artist I am new.
I created a lot of work online for around 3 years before I even considered being an artist. My images I call doodles were being noticed by so many different groups and I decided to go with the art group. I did a lot of digital art work slowly working away from commission based work like CD covers and videos etc.

I did a few years in the online digital art world put my work on a few websites and then later I was contacted by other websites saying we love your art, this was my first step, I joined a few places and created art work. Tho the images were of a far lower quality because of the internet and file sizes etc. my work started to get me places and I became top 25 artist in a few places for a few years.

Graphicker closed down but I got a lot of questions about exhibits because a lot of those artists were just people taking photos of there art and I decided to look into that after some time and a fair few people asking me. When Graphicker finally closed I decided to make the jump.

My first ever solo exhibit of my work there was a coordinator for the venue who taught me so very much about what I should do and need, I just kept going learning more along the way.

My work has been featured on CGSocitey and Creative Pool (2011 & 2019), showcased Virgin Media Festival artist and top 25 veteran (Creative Pool and Graphicker 3 and 5 years) etc. Though I must say I would prefer if you took my work on its merit alone, this isn’t about me, or you. It is about all of us, hence the name Human.
